Attention: Update as 2023/08/23- The RP city known as Harayadori will go on hiatus for a long time. I will be transparent with you and tell you that this is because I cannot find anyone who will help with leadership responsibilities in the sim. Managing such a sim requires a lot of individuals and I cannot do it myself, sadly, as much as I would love to. Now that I am returning to work full time IRL, I do not have the time I would need to properly maintian a roleplay sim of this nature and give it the attention it deserves. I apologize to anyone who had investment in this project. Maybe some day I will return to it, so this website will remain as a memorial and update area. However, I do not anticipate I will have the free time to return to this project.

This sim focuses on Supernatural Roleplay (Vampires, werewolves, etc) with a light scifi twist. Harayadori: How do I create a character and start RPing?
There is no application process. To create a character, just create a tab in your profile pics with your character's information and start playing!
If we feel your character or appearance doesn't fit or need changes, we'll let you know, but as long as your character would appear as (mostly) human to other players, then that will be fine.

We trust you to know what will fit with the theme and we trust that if you are not sure, you will reach out for guidance.
What is Harayadori?
Harayadori is the name of an artificial island in the Pacific Ocean, which features an independent city-state of the same name. It was founded in 2021 by the FemCo Zaibatsu after the successful cleaning of Earth's atmosphere. People from around the world flock to get in to this new city which declared itself independent in the year 2021. It is now 2081, and the city has thrived in the 60 years since its creation.
Why was Harayadori created?
In early 2020, the planet earth was on the brink of disaster. Industrial pollution and profit seeking governments and corporations had effectively poisoned the planet and awoke the wrath of giant monsters called Kaiju. While much of humanity braced for the end of humanity, Dr. Fiona Tanaka and her company rushed to finish development of NANOX, a revolutionary nanotechnology. The NANOX successfully cleaned the atmosphere and restored much of the damage done by carbon emissions. While much of the damage done by pollution is still present, the crisis of Earth was over and humanity was saved. In the aftermath of this crisis, Dr. Tanaka created the island of Harayadori with the blessing of the international community so that she might continue her research without political interference or the threat of corporate espionage. In exchange, Dr. Tanaka uses the city as a pilot study for how human kind could organize its society to avoid future global disaster.
Why do I want to go to Harayadori?
Everyone's reasons to immigrate to the island are their own. One of the major draws to the city is that there is no atrificial work or artificial scarcity. The government of Harayadori provide for the basic needs of everyone in the city. All citizens are entitled to clean air, water, shelter, and a life of dignitity. As long as there is room and you are accepted by our rigorious immigration process, you will be accomodated.
If all my basic needs are met, what do I do there?
You are free to pursue your passion. While the government of Harayadori will provide for your basic human needs, the value and price of everything else is set by market-based supply-and-demand price setting. The founders of Harayadori do not believe that humanity will flourish under a system that forces people to prioritize their contributions to society on the basis of trying to avoid homelessness or starvation. Instead, it is the belief that the best and brightest should be allowed to pursue their own interests and that passion for one's own projects will provide better incentive for our service-based economy. The local businesses within Harayadori operate under this model.
How does Harayadori maintain these resources?
Nanomachines, son! When FemCo founder, Dr. Fiona Tanaka, decided to use the NANOX to create Harayadori, it was decided that they would use this same technology to fulfill the needs of the citizens. All labor, including food, is managed by a combination of Nanites and Android Labor. While Androids are recognized as citizens, they still represent the majority of laborers within the city. Any human who wishes to become a laborer must first be cleared by the Android Workers Guild before beginning work.
Is Harayadori safe?
Harayadori boasts a safety record unparalleled in the modern world. There have been no natural disasters or Kaiju sightings in over 20 years. The City-State of Harayadori has been recognized by the Japanese Diet. The GDP of Harayadori is just over ¥14 trillion (Or just shy of 105 billion dollars). People visit from all over the world for relaxing vacation destinations, the finest selection of luxury hotels and long-stay apartments, and some of the best dining experiences to pamper you and your guests or family. For business or pleasure, Harayadori is the perfect place!
What are we looking for?
At the moment, we're looking for people who will be leads on various race groups, run businesses, and just roleplay in general! Police, teachers, business owners, criminals, students, cult leaders and more!
